Summary
With innovative exhaust aftertreatment solutions combustion engine powertrains can achieve zero / near zero impact pollutant emissions. Key enabling technologies are presented in this paper, a particular focus is placed on powertrains for Non-Road Mobile Machinery (NRMM).
HJS Emission Technology presents advanced SCR mixing sections and active thermal management technologies to achieve very high NOx conversion efficiencies. The HJS mixing sections avoid deposit formation even at very low temperatures and for very high dosing quantities. The HJS electric heating elements with up to 20 kW heating power enable extremely short heat up phases to achieve catalyst light off even before engine start.
