Summary
LiDAR is agreed to be part of the sensor suit in L2+ to L5 autonomous vehicles. Besides the well-known ADAS features, LiDAR measurements can help increase the comfort in vehicles by means of preview on the road ànd can provide detailed road quality information that is today collected by costly and dedicated equipment and personnel. This presentation will show the uplift of LiDAR use in the world of autonomous vehicles.
