Summary
The vehicle development of the last decades was focussed mostly on the reduction of emissions. The goal of a good fuel consumption is naturally in the development of combustion engines, but only in the last years some OEM´s are trying to understand the vehicle as a system and also they are trying to minimise the fuel consumption of these system – also pushed by the development of hybrid cars. This letters are done for the theme of waste heat recovering – an idea coming from the beginning of the engine development. But today, under using of modern technologies, it is possible to use this technology which is able to decrease the fuel consumption of a vehicle.
