Summary

"STEEREON" is a personal light electric vehicle (PLEV), developed by students at TH Köln. It is a compact and foldable single-track two-wheel-E-Scooter, which offers unique driving dynamics due to a patented steering mechanism for the special requirements of urban mobility. It is the first E-Scooter with an all-wheel-steering mechanism to enter the market of micro mobility. The resulting unique dynamics in combination with the front-wheel-drive provides safety and driving pleasure on a new level within the vehicle class. STEEREON can be driven both while standing or sitting and the driver can always choose whether he or she prefers to drive sporty or to cruise relaxed. The comparatively large tires offer a very high level of ride comfort and help to safely overcome a wide range of obstacles, such as curbs and potholes. It is continued, progressed and manufactured by a start-up company called PLEV technologies GmbH.
