Summary
Commercial vehicles can meet the European emission levels EU IV and EU V with either a particulate reduction catalyst or a Selective Catalytic Reduction system. The US2007 - and US2010 - legislation has imposed even more stringent exhaust emission limits for commercial vehicles for oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and particulate matter (PM) as well. However, it can be expected that the upcoming, currently discussed EU VI emission legislation will be set to a similar level as the US2010 requirements, hence necessitating additional engine internal measures and a combined exhaust emission control system for minimization of both the PM and the NOx emissions.
Lectures from the International Vienna Motor Symposium can be ordered from the Austrian Society of Automotive Engineers (ÖVK). Lectures can only be purchased in the form of the complete conference documents, individual lectures are not available.
When placing an order, please note the year/name of the event (e.g. "45th International Vienna Motor Symposium 2024") for the further ordering process.
Members of the Austrian Society of Automotive Engineers have access to all lectures of the International Vienna Motor Symposia.
