Summary

On the occasion of launching the all-new Phantom VIII, Rolls Royce Motorcars Ltd. have for the first time in their history designed an entirely new architecture to underpin all subsequent Rolls-Royce derivatives. The intention of this architecture approach is to deliver motorcars with substantially improved product substance and
profitability.

This paper describes the characteristics of this new architecture, its benefits for the next derivatives to come and gives a short outlook on the first car based on this platform – the new Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII.
