Summary
The automotive industry has reached noticeable reductions in fuel consumption and emission in the past. Conventional developments especially for gasoline- and diesel engines contributed in addition. Further large leaps are only possible with an integrated function-oriented total-vehicle approach. At the same time the understanding of the highly cross-linked energy fluxes is crucial for developing new solutions.
Members of the Austrian Society of Automotive Engineers have access to all lectures of the International Vienna Motor Symposia.
