Summary

The NM12 stack platform is developed under automotive mass production process aspects. The manufacturing concept and the tooling technology is based on existing in-house competences and experience.

The CO2 regulations in Europe are the main driver for zero emission concepts in the commercial vehicle segment. Fuel Cells have significant advantages in comparison to other zero emission powertrain concepts, therefore relevant volumes of fuel cell applications are expected in the second half of this decade in the commercial vehicle segment.

The NM12 stack platform offers a robust and compact design which is fully industrialized. It is a modular stack platform with a power output from 50 kW to more than 200 kW on stack level and an ideal stack concept for commercial vehicle applications including heavy duty trucks up to more than 350 kW - in multiple stack applications.
