Summary

Mazda has announced that it will achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and has launched the "SKYACTIV-G" and "SKYACTIV-D" models, which both offer the joy of driving, along with their evolved versions in the "SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY Series," in pursuit of the ideal powertrain. To achieve the aforementioned carbon neutrality, Mazda will develop and provide technologies suitable for this goal based on a multi-solution approach, ranging from EVs and PHEVs to engine-equipped vehicles, while taking into account the regional power generation mix. In addition, by utilizing these hardware assets, Mazda is exploring the possibility of using carbon-neutral fuels in engine-equipped vehicles, including PHEVs and HEVs, and making the exhaust gases, including CO2, emitted from automobiles cleaner than the atmosphere.
