Zusammenfassung

In this paper, the road friction sensitivity and friction adaptation of an Automatic Emergency Brake (ANB) is investigated. For this purpose, the first test scenario of the Euro-NCAP AEB Car-to-Car Test Protocol is used as driving maneuver. The friction coefficient adaptation determines the currently constant release distance by an estimated value of the road friction coefficient. This can correspond to the friction value of a dry, wet, snow-covered or ice-covered road surface. The necessary accuracy requirements of the estimated value are determined by a freely selectable tolerance band. Finally, the ASIL classification of the automatic emergency brake is described according to the specifications of ISO 26262 and it is examined whether this classification can also be maintained at low road friction values by the friction value adaptation.
