Zusammenfassung

The automotive industry is currently in a transformation process around the megatrends of carbon-neutral mobility, digitalization, autonomous driving and shared mobility services, which influence each other. This publication focuses on the influence of automated driving and digitalization on electrified powertrains, their concept development and aggregate dimensioning.
Therefore, the requirements of connectivity and automated driving on the vehicle and powertrain as well as their influence on customer driving are analyzed. Based on those requirements the powertrain of a P2-PHEV is designed and optimized in legal cycles and customer operation for a D-segment vehicle without and one without automated driving functions. For this, a computer-aided development process and a virtual toolchain is used and adapted accordingly.
