Zusammenfassung

Progressing powertrain electrification, increasing demand of electrical energy due to new comfort and assistance vehicle functions as well as automated driving require new approaches in the field of automotive power supply systems (PSS) and the associated energy management. For this reason, an innovative test bench for the development and optimization of future PSS has been set up at the Center for Mobile Propulsion of RWTH Aachen University. The modular and flexible approach opens a wide range of research and development opportunities, from component investigations to realistic  X-in-the-Loop analysis at system level.
