Summary

The new plug-in hybrid generation from Mercedes-Benz is part of the strategy to electrify a total of over 50 vehicle variants across the entire portfolio until 2022. A technological highlight is the combination of the new 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine OM 654 with the 9G-TRONIC 9-speed hybrid transmission and 90 kW of electric power. The electric range of around 50 km in the NEDC enhances the experience of local emission-free mobility.
