Zusammenfassung

The combination of a highly efficient combustion engine and a 48 V system is playing an increasingly important role among drive technologies. The CO2 reductions being pursued around the world are being demanded in conjunction with significantly more
stringent pollutant limits under real operating conditions.

Continental’s 48 V ECO Drive System is being expanded by an electrically heated catalytic converter. As a cascade catalytic converter, the 48 V EMICAT® is a new, highly efficient version designed to optimize emission performance.

The combination of thermal management, energy management and drive management systems introduces solutions for the further reduction of CO2 and pollutant emissions under real driving conditions.
