Zusammenfassung

A significant share of a battery electric vehicles (BEV) range is derived from recuperation. The electric energy recovered during deceleration comes from operating the electric motors as a generator. The Audi e-tron introduces numerous innovations that further optimize the efficiency of recuperative braking and equally offer good driveability and high comfort. The vehicle's axles each come with an electric motor. The brake-by-wire system has a hydraulic actuation. Audi developed a recuperation function that makes optimum use of the advantages afforded by the braking system and the powertrain topology. Drivers can adjust the level of recuperation to the specific traffic situation and their personal driving style by using their preferred control element:
brake pedal, steering wheel paddles or accelerator pedal recuperation.
