Zusammenfassung

Integrating SCR catalysts onto a diesel particulate filter (SDPF) may be one of most viable ways to meet strict emission standards. However, conventional SCR catalysts can't allow a certain level of soot loading in SDPF due to its limited thermal durability. Further, the higher temperature of SDPF during filter regeneration makes its complete NOx conversion more challenging compared to the case with conventional underfloor (uf) SCR. Here, we demonstrate the LNT/SDPF/uf-SCR aftertreatment system based on our new SCR catalyst technology having an outstanding thermal durability. The proposed catalytic system is believed to provide crucial stepping stones towards zero NOx emission in real-world driving with an improvement of fuel economy, which may help internal combustion engines become more sustainable.
