Zusammenfassung
Component aging is one crucial parameter in the design of battery electric trucks. This article describes an approach for the design of battery electric trucks that takes component degradation effects into consideration. In order to determine application-specific optimal solutions, the selection of component types and ratings is varied.
Since state-of-the-art battery aging models do not fulfill the requirements for this approach, a modular lithium-ion cell aging model is developed that simulates cell degradation during running dynamic load collectives. The model applies parametrizable mathematical functions to describe the influence of each stress factor on cell aging separately. The simulation results demonstrate high model accuracy for a specific cell. The validity for any lithium-ion cell needs to be confirmed in further aging studies.
