Summary

The goal of climate neutrality is set by societies and political decision makers. The path to it can be reached in multiple ways. Especially for power generation and the marine sector, large engines will be part of the solution. Engines can be made climate neutral in multiple ways. Green e-fuels like hydrogen, ammonia or methanol are solutions. Carbon capture and storage in combination with fossil fuels is another option. An additional path is the usage of all sources of biomass and waste energy. To achieve the big goal of climate neutrality, all the paths will be required.
