Summary
Conventional diesel engines power industries that are responsible for considerable amounts of CO2. At the same time, mankind is growing and so its desire for food, housing and infrastructure. DEUTZ tackles this challenge by expanding its product portfolio with sustainable powertrains. As there is no one-fits-all solution, the transformation requires a technology-neutral approach considering all measures that mitigate the CO2 footprint. Consequently, DEUTZ’s product ecosystem comprises combustion engines that use hydrogen and alternative fuels as well as alternative powertrain technologies such as electric drives.
