Zusammenfassung

This paper describes the further development of the electrohydraulic displacement units for damper-based fully active chassis systems, which have so far been marketed exclusively by RAPA. Starting from Generation 1, which has been in series production since 2018, the further development to the new Generation 2 is described.

The new generation has been made high-voltage capable in order to be integrated directly into the HV power supply of hybrid or battery-electric vehicles. In addition to the high-voltage power supply, a new design was developed that integrates the two motor-pump units of a vehicle axle in an extremely compact design.
