Zusammenfassung

Today's global megatrends in the automotive industry clearly show that the vehicles of the future will be networked, electric and autonomous. That requires solutions combining mechanical systems with digital intelligence. ZF draws on the necessary hardware and software expertise to offer the technology from one source.

Presenting its Innovation Car 2017, also known as the Vision Zero Vehicle, ZF demonstrates its readiness to shape the future. The vehicle is based on a newly developed rear axle with purely electric, locally emission-free drive that also features integrated power electronics. Advanced driver assistance functions rely on intelligent
control and crosslinking of other ZF components such as brakes, steering, radar and camera systems. There is a focus on safety functions over the whole range from assisted to automated driving. A key feature is an innovative, user-centered HMI that constantly analyzes the current situation to inform and warn the driver.
