Software Defined Vehicle in the VUCA World – Balancing Value Chain Resilience and Performance Needs

In today’s business environment, Automotive players must make their value chains resilient, and at the same time increase productivity improvement. While pressured by this ambidextrous challenge, the industry is in the midst of their most comprehensive transformation. We are progressing towards Electric Vehicles (EV) and re-shaping the automotive value chain (and value add model) because of the Software Defined Vehicle (SDV). In this SDV context, large automotive value add follows new success factors. Therefore, a two-pronged approach with respective tools to increase performance and resilience at the same time is required to help adapting to the VUCA requirements
