Zusammenfassung

The environment of urban mobility is subject to fundamental changes. Shifting customer priorities, regulatory changes and new mobility platforms are just the beginning; autonomous driving and high-range electrified drivetrains will reduce operating cost and make "mobility on demand" a mass market product. This will have profound impact on the vehicles and operating concepts related to them: two-seated „Pods“ and larger „Urban Shuttles“ will be deployed, placing specific demands on efficiency, interior design, exterior and connectivity. New business models evolve along the value chain, providing new revenue opportunities, but also tremendous risk potential for OEMs and suppliers alike.
