Zusammenfassung

Considering an increasing amount of chassis control systems interacting amongst each other and with conventional vehicle components, new methods to master the resulting complexity are essential. These methods are to be integrated into the vehicle and platform design process to make system effects and interactions
transparent early on in the development process. This work presents a system design process combining and is based on insights of earlier research. A generic application of a sensitivity analysis allows the iterative system design for steady-state and transient points of operation. System requirements are derived for a resulting system design. The process is exemplary applied to a battery-electric sports-utilityvehicle equipped with an active roll stabilization. Design targets vehicle dynamics are defined, a set of relevant design maneuvers are specified and a simulation model is
configured. A system design map is derived using the sensitivity analysis. The map reveals parameter impacts, design trade-offs and conflicts. Based on the analysis, the control system is designed and analyzed in different points of operation. Design targets are iteratively met and system requirements from the prior system can be confirmed. Thus the process shows an efficient way to modify an existing software function for a new vehicle concept.
