Zusammenfassung
This contribution presents a method for quantifying the passenger´s perception during pedal-induced acceleration maneuvers. The goal is to describe customers´ expectation of agility through measurable parameters. Five steps characterize the approach applied: example vehicles and their acceleration behavior are analyzed. This analysis is the basis for defining and deducing the range for possible variations. In the scope of a study these variations are implemented in the Stuttgart Driving Simulator and are evaluated by test persons. The evaluated perception allows the
influencing factors on agility to be worked out. Finally, the correlation between subjective data and measured, objective data is verified and validated.
