Zusammenfassung
The performance of electric drivetrains in electric and hybrid vehicles depends on the temperature of the electric components. Hence in order to optimize efficiency and performance, it is of interest to study the impact of the cooling system. This work presents a simulation model that incorporates cooling pipes, pump, and components such as electric machine and inverter. Component models and their parameters can be derived from various sources such as 3D simulations, measurements and supplier data. The resulting system model can simulate temperatures, efficiencies, etc. under various drive cycles and external conditions.
