Renault powertrain software structure is based on EMS 2010 (Engine Management System) modular software. In EMS 2010 phase 2, rules and tools needed all along the development process are applied in a SIMULINK simulation & software integration development environment. The content of the development environment depends on the functional requirement and it is used for: • System requirement definition, evaluation and validation • Design & validation of Automatic Code Generation compatible strategies • Offline strategies tuning, • Physical model development for off-line strategy development environment • And software integration
