Zusammenfassung

High-voltage battery housings are currently a development focus of numerous OEMs and suppliers. Major design goals are safety, low weight, reduced costs and thermal management system integration in order to cope with battery cell requirements under all boundary conditions. Functionally integrated thermal management systems seem to be a promising approach in order to cope best with the aforementioned requirements. fka and voestalpine have therefore investigated in a joint project how a technology toolkit for high-voltage battery housings can be designed. Within this publication, the focus lies on the definition of requirements and possible solutions for
functionally integrated thermal management systems in high-voltage battery housings.
