Summary

By applying Integrated Drive Axle into a vehicle, even though the unsprung mass can be reduced, the camber stiffness is increased. This study shows how the Integrated Drive Axle with increased camber stiffness improves cornering performance in extreme situations such as track driving. We evaluated the performance from part level to vehicle. Third-party verification was conducted to objectively verify IDA's circuit driving performance. In addition, a study was conducted on the torque loss.
