Summary
Water management in Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) involves functionally different microstructural layers that spans over few orders of magnitude in
length scale. A direct numerical simulation of such a system is challenging due to computational resources required, change of physics of fluids across the layers and dynamic interface characterization. This study addresses these issues by implementing
a novel multiscale water management simulation workflow using a multiphase Lattice
Boltzmann framework.
