Summary

In 2017 Geely Powertrain Research Institute is presenting a brand new 7 speed transmission platform capable of 330Nm. This is a first step of setting a major corner stone of the powertrain strategy of Geely Auto Group.

Key technologies, such as wet dual clutch system with electro-hydraulic actuation, electro-mechanic controlled shifting, electric oil pump and splash optimization have been taken on board to reach high fuel economy and very good drivability.

Focus has been set to enable both conventional and hybrid drivelines on the same architecture with a commonality of 80%. Hybrid modes such as electric driving, sailing, recuperation, boosting and generator-mode will be available.

Members of the Austrian Society of Automotive Engineers have access to all lectures of the International Vienna Motor Symposia.
