Summary
With the new Cayenne, Porsche is introducing the latest generation of high-performance electric drive systems into series production, setting new benchmarks in both performance and efficiency. The focus lies on three core attributes: maximum performance at the highest torque level, outstanding efficiency in customer-relevant driving scenarios, and consistently available power even under the most demanding conditions.
These capabilities are enabled by a newly developed, innovative direct-cooling system for the electric machine, which ensures stable power delivery over extended periods while simultaneously increasing overall efficiency.
This presentation provides insights into the development objectives, technical innovations, and defining features of this forward-looking drive technology in the new Cayenne.
