Summary
The practical implementation of hybrid systems requires system-wide thinking and an enhanced integration of electrical engineering and information technology. The latter ones have basically been represented in the car industry for years, but they increasingly take a key position due to the hybrid electrical vehicles (HEV) which require a supplementary training or, if necessary, a specific training. In this publication, important training contents are comprehensively structured, depending on different target groups. Aspects regarding the quality of training steps will be explained and the university's role will be illustrated. Finally, practical examples from trainings and the work of the Institute of Automotive Engineering (IAE) and the Institute for Electrical Machines, Traction and Drives (IMAB) of the TU Braunschweig will be given.
Members of the Austrian Society of Automotive Engineers have access to all lectures of the International Vienna Motor Symposia.
