Summary
Geely Hybrid Engine - GHE is the Geely product explicitly designed for dedicated HEV application. It is a new 1.5 L TGDI market leading engine for the next generation of hybrid vehicles from the Geely Holding Group. It is the base for a new engine platform.
To ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, the GHE engine has been engineered to have highest efficiency, leading fuel economy, refined NVH and performance, combined with high reliability and affordable cost.
To cover the real world driving conditions, such as a typical Chinese driving profile, the working requirements of an ICE for hybrid applications were intensively investigated. The benchmarking of the global trends has been executed to set challenging targets over the engine speed and load map, including best Brake Thermal Efficiency (BTE).
