Summary
The low-emission vehicle drives of the future can only be made a reality if the losses that occur are reduced throughout the entire drive train. We must therefore consider internal combustion engines, electric components, and transmissions as a whole, which includes considering improvements to the engine data map such as those that can be achieved using variable valve trains. At the same time, transmission concepts must also be developed that are suitable for both 48-volt and high-voltage hybrid drives and that combine a high level of overall efficiency with the lowest possible level of complexity.
Lectures from the International Vienna Motor Symposium can be ordered from the Austrian Society of Automotive Engineers (ÖVK). Lectures can only be purchased in the form of the complete conference documents, individual lectures are not available.
When placing an order, please note the year/name of the event (e.g. "45th International Vienna Motor Symposium 2024") for the further ordering process.
Members of the Austrian Society of Automotive Engineers have access to all lectures of the International Vienna Motor Symposia.
