Summary
With the new modular concept of aftertreatment system, DOOSAN INFRACORE is introducing its medium heavy-duty Diesel engines (i.e. DL06 and DL08) that comply with off-road Stage V emissions regulation. Compared to the preceding Stage IV / Tier 4 Final versions presented in the 22nd Aachen Colloquium Automobile and Engine Technology 2013, the advancement of DOOSAN INFRACORE's high-efficiency SCR technology has enabled the elimination of EGR system. This Stage V 'No EGR' architecture has achieved around 4% reduction of total fluid consumption (i.e. Diesel + AdBlue) than the Stage IV 'With EGR' version. In addition, the package size of the new Stage V aftertreatment system was
considerably saved by substituting AdBlue mixer pipe with advanced compact mixer.
