DHT Pro - a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission Designed for Efficiency in Customer Use

Summary

Geely Powertrain Research Institute has developed a high voltage Dedicated Hybrid Transmission, known as DHT Pro, with two e-machines and three gears. The innovative packaging approach using planetary gearsets and clutch packs inside the e-machines has enabled class leading packaging performance.

DHT Pro was developed using a combination of system engineering and simulation tools to match vehicle requirements of fuel consumption, gradeability and towing capability. Key consideration has been on customer driving efficiency, comfort, and responsiveness. This paper is highlighting how the flexibility of DHT Pro enables complete powertrain efficiency.

The DHT Pro is part of the new advanced NordThor Power (or Leishen Power) Power-train Platform that was launched in October 2021.
