Summary
The V-Cycle-Model as a traditional approach for the development of complex systems has several shortcomings regarding today’s challenges like for example the harmonization of different development disciplines with diverging development style, release and update frequency and speed. In this paper, an extended model – the functional V-Cycle-Model is proposed that boosts companies to overcome such challenges. The model is based on a common function structure which provides the rotary axis in a corresponding end-to-end data handling architecture across multiple development disciplines.
Lectures from the International Vienna Motor Symposium can be ordered from the Austrian Society of Automotive Engineers (ÖVK). Lectures can only be purchased in the form of the complete conference documents, individual lectures are not available.
When placing an order, please note the year/name of the event (e.g. "45th International Vienna Motor Symposium 2024") for the further ordering process.
Members of the Austrian Society of Automotive Engineers have access to all lectures of the International Vienna Motor Symposia.
