Summary

The present publication focuses on the optimization of a low pressure H2-DI combustion system regarding mixture formation and combustion. For this purpose, different influence parameters on the jet propagation are analyzed in an optical vessel. Subsequently, the results are evaluated on an engine test bench with respect to emissions and fuel efficiency.
