Summary

This article deals with the technical features of the hydrogen system of the new BMW iX5 Hydrogen, as it is currently used in a small series worldwide for communication purposes and for collecting data in various markets. In addition to a detailed description of the fuel cell system, which was also presented in [1], with associated simulation results, this article also deals with the tank system. Strategic aspects related to hydrogen round off the article.
