Summary
Honda developed a new series of gasoline DI (direct injection) turbo-charged engines within the framework of EARTH DREAMS TECHNOLOGY, which achieve both high power and environmental performance at an excellent level. Due to diverse vehicle demands, a turbo-charged engine series with 1.0l, 1.5l, 2.0l and 3.5l displacement were newly developed, and will be introduced globally including Europe. The all new engines are equipped with a turbocharger, a DI system, a variable valve train system, and a high turbulence combustion concept, in order to achieve both power and efficiency at a top level.
