Summary

In 2015 we presented the Mission-E concept study, our vision of a fully electrical vehicle. The target was to build a vehicle with an electrical range of 500 km (NEDC) and a fast charging capability of 400 kilometer in 20 minutes (NEDC). The 800 V powertrain was identified as the key technology for a high performance sports car with fast charging capability. In this paper I would like to speak about how the vision became a reality.
